There was strong feedback from the AFCI community requesting that the dates for our ​event be moved to later in January. The Phoenix Convention Center offered the best date options for 2017 and beyond.

The Phoenix Convention Center will allow our event to grow and expand through co-location with relevant associations and trade groups thus creating an industry event without comparison.

Weather--Phoenix is known for more than 325 days of sunshine with a 72-degree average temperature.

State-of-the-art Facility--The Phoenix Convention Center just completed a $600 million expansion project in the heart of Downtown Phoenix, and is just 4 miles from Sky Harbor International Airport. 

The award-winning Convention Center offers plenty of room and space options for our robust education and special events programs. The Convention Center also draws from Arizona’s colorful landscape with natural light streaming in from dramatic architecture reminiscent of the Grand Canyon. 

Accessibility--The Convention Center has its own dedicated stop on the METRO Light Rail line, and the free Sky Train runs 24/7 every 3 minutes; making it easy to get to and from the airport, hotels, and the center of Phoenix.

Beginning in 2017, our event will be three days, instead of the current four-day format, as requested by members.

In addition, ​we will be able to hold the 2016 exhibitor booth rates and additional exhibitor services costs at 2016 levels in 2017.
