If you didn't attend Creativation in 2017, imagine this: a bustling urban area where traditional exhibitor booths are storefronts and the featured destinations represent everyday places you would recognize in your hometown, such as the local bakery, bistro, or university. This is the basic premise of Creativation – a place where creative businesses of all types and sizes can visit to discover new and exciting opportunities; a place that feels familiar, like home, yet that facilitates new partners and connections, and prepares your business for the year ahead and beyond.
Whether you plan to walk the trade show by following street signs or by way of the Hop-On/Hop-Off Tour Bus, here are places and events you should look for while attending Creativation:
Everyone is an artist in this creative studio space. Learn the basics of painting through the Society of Decorative Painters’ new Make With Paint™ program. Celebrate your creativity with a glass of wine during a Paint-n-Sip event* hosted by Plaid.
Learn a new craft at the Artisan Fair featuring Phoenix artists, artisans and crafters.
Relive your summer camp days at Camp Creativity – bringing your favorite summer crafts to life and focusing on an ever-growing sector of our industry: Kids’ Crafts. Participate in the fun and learn more about this sector by stopping by the booth and visiting with 4KidsCo, Crayola and Plaid, or by attending the General Session* presented by Crayola on Sunday, January 21.
Learn what’s new, what’s trending and how you can drive your business forward to success through seminars and workshops at Creativation University. Participate in classes that channel your enthusiasm, sharpen your business skills, and expand your knowledge of the creative arts industry – all led by industry experts, professional educators, and your creative peers.
Creative influencers and creators who develop content, promote brands, educate consumers and influence buyers are invited to use the Creator Lounge, sponsored by Floracraft.
